The Hometown Project hopes to inspire people to be aware of the potential of their hometown, invites them to share ideas of what would make their city better, and gives them the motivation and tools to make real change.
Inspired by our hometowns of Prince George, British Columbia, and Medicine Hat, Alberta, we wanted to find out how we could help these places generate community and become leaders in culture, creativity, and sustainability.
Our four step communication design solution motivates people to realize the potential of their own hometowns, and of themselves. The stories from our cities that provoked us the most were those of individuals creating the places they wanted to live in, of people being the change they wanted to see. We wanted to help build communities that can inspire each other.
